How to recover your Playhub account

Reset a forgotten password, troubleshoot the reset email and get help with lost email or 2FA access.

If you cannot sign in, identify which part is stopping you: your password, email access or two-factor authentication (2FA). These are different problems and may require different recovery steps.

Make sure you are on playhub.com and using the account associated with your purchase or seller profile. Read the exact message on the sign-in screen before choosing the steps below.

If you forgot your password

1. Open the sign-in form

Go to Playhub and select the account icon in the upper-right corner of the page.

2. Select Forgot password?

On the Login to Playhub screen, select Forgot password? beside the Log in button.

3. Request reset instructions

On the Password reset screen, enter the email address associated with your Playhub account and select Reset password. The form states that reset instructions will be sent to your email.

4. Follow the instructions in your email

Open the reset email and follow its instructions to choose a new, strong password that you do not use on other platforms. Then return to Playhub and sign in.

If the next sign-in also asks for your existing passkey or authenticator, complete that security check. If you no longer have access to that method, follow the 2FA guidance below.

If the reset email does not arrive

  • Check that you entered the email address linked to the correct Playhub account, without a typo.

  • Check your spam or junk folder as well as your inbox.

  • If you still cannot find it, contact Playhub support and explain that you requested a password reset but did not receive the email. Include any error shown on the reset form.

If you cannot access your account email

Try your email provider's account recovery process. If you cannot regain access to the mailbox, contact Playhub support and explain that you cannot receive the reset instructions. Mention whether you are still signed in to Playhub on another device.

Support may need to establish that you own the account before discussing recovery. Follow only the instructions given through Playhub's official support flow; do not create another Playhub account to work around the access problem.

If you lost your 2FA device

If your password works but the security check does not, follow the guidance for your existing passkey or authenticator. Do not set up a second Playhub account to bypass the check.

Contact Playhub support and explain that you cannot complete the security check. Mention whether you used a passkey or an authenticator app and whether you still have access to your account email.

Do not send passwords, authenticator secrets, one-time codes or passkey recovery credentials in chat. A recovery request does not guarantee that access can be restored immediately.

Help support understand the situation

Include the error message, when the problem started and whether you are still signed in on another device. If an order is affected, include its reference. Avoid attaching identity documents to an ordinary message; use a secure verification flow if one is requested.

After you regain access, review your account settings and set up your security method on a device you control. For general protection tips, see Account Safety.
