Which notifications we send and why

If you have an open order or an active offer in the catalog, make sure to be available on the website to start working on an order or should another party (buyer/seller) require some information from you.

For sellers: if you’re planning to be away for a while, we highly recommend you to change your offers status to “Inactive” until you come back.

It’s highly recommended to be online while you purchase or sell something on our marketplace, but to help you stay in touch with another party, when they need you, and to be aware of any changes to your offers, orders, or account, we have automated chat and email notifications.

Buyers receive email notifications about:

  • Payment success

  • Order status change

  • New message on the website

Sellers receive email notifications about:

  • New order received

  • Order status change

  • New message on the website

  • New review from a buyer

  • Updates on offers under review

  • Stock shortage

Make sure to monitor the website for necessary updates. And if you’re planning to be away for a while, check your email notifications.
