When you request withdrawal of your Playhub balance for the first time, you will be asked to pass the identity verification. The procedure is also known as “Know your customer” or KYC and is performed by our partner Sumsub. This is done for security reasons and compliance with international KYC/AML regulations.
Please note that the procedure is totally secure and that neither we nor Sumsub will be sharing your personal information with any third parties unless it’s necessary for compliance with international KYC/AML regulations, police, or other authorities’ investigation.

Please also note that in most cases it’s a one-time procedure, but we may require an additional check, should our risk-scoring system detect any suspicious activity or rules violation.
Check the guide below to learn how to pass the KYC on Playhub. The procedure usually takes less than 5 minutes.
1. When you request a withdrawal from the Balance tab, you’ll see a pop-up window asking you to verify your identity. Click “Verify now”.
2. You’ll be redirected to the Sumsub page.
3. Check the Terms and Conditions and the Consent to Personal Data Processing.
4. Confirm your agreement by clicking the checkboxes and press “Next”.
5. Make sure your web camera is connected and working. Alternatively, you can switch to your mobile device by clicking the “Continue on your phone” button.
6. On the next page, choose your country of residence and the ID document you’d like to use. Take a photo of the document and upload it. Make sure the photo is in good quality and uncut (all corners of the document should be visible). When uploaded, click “Next”.
Important information about the ID document verification:
You can use any official government document—ID-card, passport, driving license, etc. It should be valid for at least one month after the present date
Two-page or two-sided documents must have all pages/sides photographed and uploaded
The valid file types are JPEG and PDF at least 500KB in size
7. You may start the verification on desktop and switch to mobile at any step of the process, if necessary.
Press “Continue on your phone” to switch to a mobile device using a QR code or a link.
8. The next step is the Liveness Check. Face the camera and slowly rotate your head in a full circle to complete the liveness verification. Please try to keep your face within the frame throughout the procedure.
9. Now you’ll just have to wait while Sumsub checks your data. This usually takes less than 5 minutes. The status of your application will be updated automatically.
10. When you see the status update on the Sumsub page, return to the Playhub page. If you’ve successfully passed the verification, you’ll see this image and you can continue your withdrawal.
11. If there’ve been any issues, you’ll see another message. In this case, please try to pass the KYC again or contact our Support team via the online chat. We’ll do our best to assist you in resolving this issue.
